Lesson 1: How to choose and register a domain with Namecheap.

Choosing the right domain provider is an essential first step in setting up your email marketing system. For this training, we’ll use Namecheap because it’s reliable, affordable, and easy to use.

Steps to register a domain with Namecheap:

Visit Namecheap: Click here to go to the Namecheap website.

Search for your domain name: Use the search bar on the homepage to check the availability of your desired domain. For example, if your brand is "YourListPro," try searching for YourListPro.com.

Choose your domain: Once you find an available domain, click "Add to Cart."

Complete the purchase: Follow the checkout process, creating a Namecheap account if you don’t already have one.

Enable WHOIS protection: Namecheap offers free WHOIS protection to keep your personal information private. Make sure this option is enabled during checkout.

That’s it! Once you’ve purchased your domain, you’ll find it listed in your Namecheap account dashboard. In the next lesson, we’ll configure it for email marketing success.
